Honeywell Honeywell pressure sensor is used in many environments, some of which may be worse. For example, the pressure sensor needs to be used to measure the impact pressure. The first method is to change the pressure transmitter chip, instead of the ordinary ceramic core or diffusion silicon core, but using the strain gauge. The resistance strain gauge is a kind of sensitive device which converts the strain change on the measured part into an electrical signal. It is one of the main components of piezoresistive strain sensor. The most widely used resistance strain gauges are metal resistance strain gauges and semiconductor strain gauges. There are two kinds of metal resistance strain gauges: wire strain gauge and metal foil strain gauge. Usually, the strain gauge is tightly bonded to the matrix producing mechanical strain through special adhesive. When the stress changes in the matrix, the resistance strain gauge will also deform together, which will change the resistance value of the strain gauge and change the voltage added to the resistance. Generally, the strain gauge forms a strain bridge, which is amplified by a subsequent instrument amplifier, and then transmitted to the processing circuit. Generally, strain gauge pressure sensor can resist impact, and it is better to resist impact, but the accuracy of this kind of sensor is accurate.

The second method is to use ordinary ceramic pressure sensor or diffusion silicon pressure sensor to measure, but not directly, and add a buffer tube in front of it, so that the impact pressure can also be measured. This method is economical and easy to install, so it is widely used.
