Development and progress of sensors in China
Release date: June 8, 2019
Due to the high professionalism of sensors, in this era of information speed comparable to the speed of light, in addition to the international first-line manufacturers with more comprehensive sensor categories, Apple iPhone series is enough to let us understand the subtleties among them, and the optimistic market prospect of intelligent products is enough to show the rapid progress of the times. However, with the development of many technologies, we have to talk about the Internet of things and sensors. The Internet of things is the whole intelligent network, and the sensor is an important part.
The progress of domestic sensor technology can not only improve the quality level of the intelligent era, but also effectively promote the economic development. Sensors have already penetrated into all areas of life. Such as industrial production, space development, ocean exploration, environmental protection, resource investigation, medical diagnosis, bioengineering, and even cultural relics protection and so on. It is no exaggeration to say that from the vast space to the vast ocean, to all kinds of complex engineering systems, almost every modern project is inseparable from all kinds of sensors.
In 2012, the four major fields of sensor application in China were industrial and automotive electronic products, communication electronic products, and special equipment for consumer electronic products. Among them, industrial and automotive electronic products accounted for about 42% of the market share, and the market scale reached 16 billion yuan, and the total sensor market exceeded 50 billion yuan. In recent years, the sensor market has been growing at a rate of more than 15%.
The average growth rate of sensors in the domestic market is expected to reach 31% in the next five years. The main driving force for the rapid growth of domestic sensor demand scale comes from industrial electronic equipment and automotive electronics, communication electronics, consumer electronics and special electronic equipment. Industrial electronic equipment and automotive electronics are fast-growing industries in the electronic information industry. They are also the fields of sensor applications, such as measuring various process variables, electronic characteristics and physical quantities, and traditional motion / positioning.
Despite the high market demand and rapid development of sensors in China, there are still some problems such as low technical level, lack of types and poor research and development ability. At present, there are 1688 enterprises engaged in the development, production and application of sensors in China, but only more than 50 enterprises are engaged in MEMS development and production, and their scale and application are small. The lack of large-scale application leads to the problem of low technology but high price of sensors in China, which will lose the advantage in the international market and make the market competition more intense.
The industry market organization pointed out: "at present, from the perspective of the whole gas sensor field, although the technology is stable, the threshold is very low. The future direction can only be advanced. " The development of the Internet of things will greatly promote the development of sensor field, and it will have great applications in energy, intelligent perception, security monitoring, environmental protection and other fields. It is estimated that by 2020, the scale of the whole industry will reach more than 60 billion yuan, and the localization rate will reach more than 70%.
But China's * * sensor field is also in the stage of technological research, that is, the market threshold is about to break through. Some domestic enterprises have introduced foreign advanced technology, and have made certain breakthroughs in the fields of proximity sensor, photoelectric sensor, infrared sensor, speed sensor and acceleration sensor, but they have not yet formed a scale. However, it is believed that with the support and promotion of national policies, the sensor industry in China will achieve rapid growth.
The development prospects and application fields of sensors are constantly expanding. Whether it is the automation industry or the construction of smart city, including the development trend of the Internet of things, all show how brilliant the sensor industry will be. However, in such a market environment, China's sensor industry has not grasped the opportunity, and the degree of localization is low.
